The images below show the gallery spaces, display screens, plinths and display cabinets. There are eleven display screens each 6ft x 4ft.
- The Gallery shows between 8 and 16 exhibitions a year, each open for approximately 3 weeks, in addition to the Open Art Competition.
- As the main exhibition spaces are on the first floor, it is not possible to show excessively large or heavy work. As a rough guide, 2D work should not exceed 1220 x 1220 mm and 3D work be no larger than 600 mm x 600 mm x 1220 mm unless it is in sections. Original work only, not reproductions.
- Some wall space is suitable for 2D work but most is shown on 11 moveable double sided screens and there are plinths for the display of 3D work.
- There is no charge to the artist and the Gallery does not take any commission on sales.
- Artists are responsible for their own insurance and for the delivery and collection of their work. They must also set up their exhibition with assistance from the gallery manager.
- 2D work should be fitted with ‘D’ rings and strung ready for hanging.
- Images for a poster (A3) for the exhibition to be displayed outside the Gallery must be provided by the artist.
- Artists may arrange their own private view but this must be within gallery opening hours unless by special arrangement.
- Artists must give permission for images of their work to be used by the Willoughby Memorial Trust for publicity and archival purposes.
- The Trustees reserve the right to mount two shows simultaneously in separate spaces in order to achieve a balanced exhibition programme. Artists will be informed of their allocated spaces when dates are agreed.
To apply to be considered for an exhibition.
