1. All entrants must live in Lincolnshire or within a 30-
2. Each artist may submit one work only. The work must be the original ( 2D or 3D ) not a reproduction.
3. Photographs accepted for Classes 1 – 5 only.
4. All entries must have a label attached to the back with information as shown below.
5. Entries for Class 6 (Open, over 18) must be suitably framed, unless on a stretched canvas and fitted with D rings and hanging cords. Watercolours must be under glass. Work submitted should have been painted or made during the last two years.
6. No entry may be more than 36 ins. (914 mm) high or 36 ins. (914 mm) wide. Three dimensional work may be no larger than 36 ins ( 914 mm) in any dimension.
7. Entries chosen for exhibition will be displayed from 5 November 2025 and remain on show until 28 November 2025. Works must be collected from the gallery during the weekend 29 Nov. to 30 Nov. 2025 otherwise by appointment with the gallery manager (telephone 01476 552304). Any item not collected by 31 December will become the property of the gallery to dispose of as seems fit. The judges reserve the right to omit any work that in their opinion is unsuitable for exhibition.
8. Entrants agree to an image of their work being used for publicity and archival purposes by the Willoughby Memorial Trust.
9. The work of an artist who has won 1st prize in Class 6 will not be eligible for a cash prize in the year immediately following but may receive the Judges’ Commendation. Class 6 prize winners will be notified by email.
10. Whilst every care will be taken with work submitted, no responsibility can be taken for the loss or damage of the entries. In all matters concerning the competition and exhibition the decision of the Trustees is final.
